St Vincent de Paul Society Queensland has dug deep to purchase a new community support and ‘Vinnies’ retail facility at Maroochydore on the Sunshine Coast for $2.475 million.

St Vincent de Paul Society Queensland has purchased four units in the Norval Court Corporate Centre at 1 Norval Court, Maroochydore, through Ray White Commercial North Coast Central’s David C Smith and Ray White Commercial Noosa & Sunshine Coast North’s Christine Freney.

David C Smith said St Vincent de Paul Queensland had been looking for some time to run their multi-faceted community support and charity retail from upgraded and larger destination premises.

“The Ray White system works well with the family network pulling together to assist those looking for specific requirements for their businesses,” he said.

“Christine Freney had been searching for some time for the ideal location for St Vincent de Paul while I had an exclusive agency on four properties for sale or lease in Centre One, 1 Norval Court, Maroochydore.

“The community minded owner finally agreed to sell the four units and St Vincent de Paul Queensland found the perfect new location for their St Gerard Majella Conference Centre and Vinnies Shop.”

St Vincent de Paul Queensland’s Northern Central Council President Ian Laherty said: “We’re thrilled to have a new home for our conference and shop so we can continue our good work for the Maroochydore community.

“The Norval Court lots offer us an improved retail location with double the space and facilities compared to our current site, more parking for customers, access to public transport, and additional office space. It’s also a prime retail precinct in an area currently under development as a key retail, industrial and residential community.”

The conference centre and shop will open at the new location in early 2016.
